RECIPE
Fruit & Veggie Critter Snacks

Ingredients:
Assorted fruits (e.g., grapes, strawberries, apple slices, banana slices)
Assorted vegetables (e.g., cucumber slices, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes)
Cream cheese or yogurt (for dipping)
Nut butter (optional)
Raisins or small berries (for eyes or decoration)
Pretzel sticks (for legs or antennae)
Instructions:
Create the Base: Arrange the fruit and vegetable slices on a plate to form the body of a critter. You can make a caterpillar with grapes, a butterfly with apple slices, or a funny face with a mix of fruits and veggies.
Add Features: Use raisins, small berries, or pieces of fruits for eyes and facial features. If you're making an animal, you can use pretzel sticks for legs or antennae.
Prepare Dips: In small bowls, serve cream cheese, yogurt, or nut butter. These can be used both as a dip and as "glue" to stick the parts of your critter together.
Assemble: Let the kids assemble their own critters using the ingredients. Encourage creativity!
Enjoy: Once the critters are assembled, they can be dipped in the cream cheese, yogurt, or nut butter and enjoyed.
This snack is not only nutritious but also engages kids in the preparation process, making them more excited about eating fruits and vegetables. Plus, it's a great opportunity for them to learn about different fruits and veggies in a fun and interactive way.
